Worldwide Zhejiang Merchant annual pageant – 2006 Zhejiang merchants conference & Zhejiang merchant forum, 1^st Zhejiang merchant investment exposition was convened on the side on West Lake of Hangzhou in the June. It was the 1^st global Zhejang merchant conference held by many different groups including Zhejiang province people’s government economical technical collaboration office, Zhejiang province industry and commerce joint association, Zhejaing daily journalism group, Zhejiang broadcast and TV group, Zhejiang province private enterprises association, Zhejang merchant journal office, Qianjiang evening paper and Zhejiang economic TV.

The theme of conference is innovation, cooperation and developing to promote the Zhejiang spirit of enterprising and solidify global Zhejiang merchants. The conference leads and impels Zhejiang merchants to be the model of self-innovation, science development and harmonious development. Then the economic of Zhejiang can be developed quicker and better continuously。

Zhejiang merchant conference – Shake hands with innovation

In the morning of 3^rd, June, Zhejiang merchant conference was opened in the Zhejiang province people’s auditoria. More than 5000 merchants, 11 officers from province government, some heads from other municipality, 23 chairmen from different Zhejiang enterprise joint association, and the people from political circles and academic community attended this conference. Provincial Party committee secretary, the chairman of the Standing Committee of Provincial people’s congress, Mr.Xijingping made a speech on the conference. He stressed that Zhejiang merchants should build up the scientific concept of development，promote Zhejiang spirit of keeping pace with the times, be the practitioner of science development, the constructor of harmonious society, the forerunner of reform innovation and the excellent constructor of socialism with Chinese characteristics, make a concerted effort to prompt Zhejiang private economic development rapidly and well. The other officers, experts and thousands of Zhejiang merchants had a full discussion on the development of Zhejiang private economy.  

The conference lasted for 3 hours focused on the theme of innovation, cooperation and development. It meant to prompt Zhejiang province developing in a higher level and innovation, transition and improvement based on the subject of innovation and cooperation. Innovation was the main rhythm of this conference.  2006 Zhejiang Merchant innovation prize, Society liability prize and the prize of model of investment for investment were awarded. Our Group won 2006 Zhejiang merchant innovation prize. Our present attended the awards ceremony and had a photo taken with provincial Party committee secretaries Mr.Xijinping and other heads.

The award winner representative including the board chairman Yintai Investment Corporation Mr.Shenguojun, the board chairman of Jili Group Mr.Lishufu, the board chairman of Wahaha Group Mr.Zhongqihou and the chairman of Zhejiang chamber commerce in Bejing, the writer of “Blue Ocean Strategy”, the professor of European business administration institute Mr. W. Chan Kim made splendid speeches on the innovation for enterprise.

Zhejiang merchants expressed that the pageant not only approved the performance on innovation of development for the superior enterpriser but also provide the chances of cooperation and communication of Zhejiang merchants and prompt self-understanding and development in communication.

Private enterprise forum – Communication by innovation

In that afternoon, a special private enterprise innovation forum was held in the international hall of Zhejiang world trade center. Board chairman Mr.Wangliping as the excellent representative of Zhejiang merchants and special invested and distinguished guest attended this forum and made brilliant speech on the stage.

The forum subject of innovation, transition and breakthrough attract reporters from all media, enterprise management experts and scholars. By taking this chance, participants can approach with economists and excellent enterprisers and talk about enterprise innovation experience face to face.

The attendance of famous economist Liangxiaoming made the forum more successful.  He analysed the difficulty and foreground of self-innovation for Zhejiang enterprises and brought us a splendid speech on topic of prompting enterprise self-innovation and environment. In addition, he also offered some advises on the improvement of self-innovation for Zhejiang enterprise.

Later, board chairman Mr.Wangliping was invited to talk about innovation of private enterprise together with board chairman Mr.Lingdong from Lusheng Group, board chairman Mr.Guoyu from Tianchang science and technology network cooperation limited and board chairman Ms.Chen’ailiang from Wanfeng’aote Group.  All these enterprisers introduced their performance and efforts on the way of innovation and shared the innovation thinking in the process of their enterprise self-developing.

Board chairman Mr.Wangliping made the introduction in detail for the innovation in technology, management and market of Guangbo Group in recent years. He emphasized to expatiate on the innovation of industry transition from traditional industry to high and new technology industry.

From exporting to abroad, producing in scale, processing for OEM to build own brand and ODM manufacture, Guangbo Group have made great performance on innovation and been the powerful proof for the award of 2006 Zhejiang merchant innovation Prize. The speech was very excellent and cheered by the audience. The economists and management experts including Mr.Liangxiaoming applauded for the bravery and pioneering spirit on the way of innovation.
